Rhaphidophora Cryptantha

Only 2 left in stock

Light Veins on a dark emerald green make this South American shingler an absolute showstopper once established. In our experience, it needs to dry out for a period every day to prevent legginess. In our terrariums I have not seen leaves surpass a loony in size in a terrarium setting, although I know it’s possible with additional height.

Mounting :

Plant at the base of a wall in ABG mix or similar.

Humidity :

To prevent legginess, this vine needs to be soaked and then left to dry throughout the day. This also produces the very tight shingling this plant is known for. Humidity should spike with the soaking, and then drop throughout the day to around 50-60.

Light :

Tolerant of a wide range, will have lighter colour and grow faster with more higher light.
