Tiny, short Gesneriad found in Ecuador and Peru with striking serrated lime green leaves with dark bronze venation. When happy it will regularly flower with miniature 1-2mm white flowers which last 5-10 days. Can be dwarfed even further by mounting epiphytically.
If terrestrial, benefits from a soil mixture similar to that of epiphytic orchids, tolerant of standard ABG mix. If mounting, place a few loose strands of sphagnum moss below and above root ball and secure into place gently. Do not let soil/epiphytic moss dry out fully.
Requires humidity 70+, high airflow will increase flowering.
Very light tolerant, takes on a bronze/olive hue with strong bronze venation with moderate/high light, seems to flower slightly more like this. Lower light will result in slightly less venation and light green almost lime foliage.
