Commonly known as ‘string of turtles’ this is a fairly common Peperomia that does wonderfully in a terrarium setting. Tolerant of a wide range of humidity, lighting and moisture, prefers to trail rather than climb.
Does best higher up on a wall or branch with a small pocket of ABG soil mixture.
Does well in 70+ humidity, grows fastest between 70-80. Can tolerate down to 40, but die back is to be expected in this case. To convert to lower humidity, place on moist sphagnum moss on top of ABG mixture, slowly drop moisture levels over 2 weeks.
Likes moderate lighting best but very light tolerant. Will grow more compact under high lighting.
