Nautilocalyx Pemphidius

One of the smallest compact Nautilocalyx species, this gesneriad has striking long narrow bullate leaves reaching about 8cm. This plant will form a moderately sized rosette of about 14-18cm across and will flower regularly in maturity. Tolerant of moderate and low lighting, will achieve gorgeous bronze leaves with green trim if lighting is moderate. Flowers are a nice addition, 1cm white trumpets with a touch of purple around the lips but the star of the show with this one is definitely the foliage.

Soil :

Does best with consistently moist ABG mixture.

Humidity :

Prefers a consistent humidity of 70+. Humidity is the most important variable with this species.

Light :

Light tolerant but prefers  moderate lighting.
