Bulbophyllum Vaginatum

Epiphyte from South East Asia that has a 2″ spread between each ovoid, yellow pseudobulbs carrying a single oblong leaf.

Blooms in the late winter and again in the summer or fall on a slender spike about 12cm long. Flowers as a cluster of 12-15 filament-y white flowers the look like fireworks.

Mounting :

Mount out of the soil either on a branch or back wall with a small amount of sphagnum moss.

Humidity :

Does well in 70+ humidity, needs decent airflow or roots can rot.

Light :

Likes bright indirect light.
