Platystele Stenostachya

This tiny epiphyte from Colombia forms clusters of leaves that are an 3-4cm long. Cool to warm and can tolerate extremes but prefers cooler temperatures.

When blooming this orchid has flowers smaller than a match head. This orchid blooms year round with clusters of flowers on short spikes.

Mounting :

Mount out of the soil either on a branch or back wall with a small amount of sphagnum moss. Care must be taken to make sure the sphagnum never completely dries out.

Humidity :

Does well in 70+ humidity, needs decent airflow or roots can rot.

Light :

Likes indirect low light.
