Dendrobium Capillipes

Small sized clustering epiphytic species from South East Asia with 6 node pseudobulbs, no leaves and spikes up to 6 cm long. This orchid is marked as Medium sized because the spikes can sometimes be up to 30 cm tall.

A single broad yellow flower will bloom in the later winter and spring from each spike.

Mounting :

Mount out of the soil either on a branch or back wall with a small amount of sphagnum moss.

Humidity :

Does well in 70+ humidity, needs decent airflow or roots can rot.

Light :

Likes bright indirect light.
