Marcgravia Bronze

Moderate size, reasonable growth and striking glossy bronze colouration make this a stunning Marcgravia and a personal favourite! Grows around 20-25cm a year depending on light. New growth comes out as a light bronze colour, deepening to a dark emerald green at maturity. This is not a heavy branching marcgravia species, preferring to focus on a single stem at a time. Leaves will be around 1.5cm long and 1cm across.

Mounting :

Plant at the base of a wall in ABG mix or similar.

Humidity :

Does best in 70+ humidity can tolerate humidity down to 50, but will grow slower with smaller leaves.

Light :

Tolerant of a wide range, will have lighter colour and grow faster with more higher light.
