Small flowering gesneriad with 2-3cm wide bullate foliage ranging from bronze/green in moderate light to a dark green in low light. Very easy to grow and will usually recover from poor conditions. Flowers regularly with 1 cm long white flowers sometimes with a splash of purple at the end.
Does best with consistently moist ABG mixture.
Does well in 70+ humidity, tolerant of lower airflow, but fungus and moulds can be a concern with low airflow. Will wilt dramatically if humidity drops below 60, but recovers nicely if humidity issues are caught early enough.
Very light tolerant but prefers low to moderate lighting. If colour starts to lighten into a lime green, lighting is too strong, and the plant will become leggy. Plant can also become leggy in low light conditions.
