Epiphytic vining fern with short wide lanceolate light green fronds from a thin dark stem reaching around 4-8cm long when mature. This isn’t particularly difficult to grow as long as humidity and airflow needs are met. I’ve found planting it at the base of a wall and letting it climb results in the fastest growth.
Mount at the base of a wall or near wall pocket on a small amount of highly aerated orchid soil mix. If planting at base of wall, be aware of airflow.
Does well in 70+ humidity, airflow is a must. If fronds become translucent, airflow must be increased. Fronds can recover from this if not left too long. Because of these requirements, I generally recommend adding epiphytic ferns in after other plants have established for at least 1-2 months in a new tank.
Very tolerant of lighting, colour will lighten with higher light. Will grow slower in low lighting.
