Bulbophyllum Helenae

Small epiphytic or lithophilic orchid from South East Asia with long ovoid pseudobulbs that have a single leaf.

Blooms in late spring. Flowers are on a spike 5-8cm long with orange tubular sheaths and purple colored lip.

Mounting :

Mount out of the soil either on a branch or back wall with a small amount of sphagnum moss.

Humidity :

Does well in 70+ humidity, needs decent airflow or roots can rot.

Light :

Prefers shaded indirect light.
